Overview
Contributions to Christian Maxwell For Congress are subject to federal election laws administered by the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
Contribution Limits (2026 Election Cycle)
- $3,300 per election (Primary and General elections are separate)
- $6,600 maximum ($3,300 for Primary + $3,300 for General)
Who Can Contribute
- U.S. citizens
- Lawfully admitted permanent residents (green card holders)
- Individuals 18 years of age or older
Prohibited Sources
Federal law prohibits contributions from:
- Corporations (including nonprofit corporations)
- Labor unions
- Federal government contractors
- Foreign nationals
- Individuals under 18 years of age
- Cash contributions exceeding $100
Refund Policy
Contributions are generally non-refundable. However, we will issue refunds for prohibited contributions, excessive contributions, duplicate contributions, and processing errors.
Tax Deductibility
Contributions to Christian Maxwell For Congress are NOT tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.
Federal Election Commission Notice
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle. Visit www.fec.gov for more information.
